This is my second piece as a member of the new collective GenerateArt. As a reminder, the collective currently focuses on themed monthly "First Thursday" Art walks in the Portland Pearl District. This shows theme was "Retrospective". Looking back on the work we've done and choosing one of significance.

My first job out of college was for a creative startup company called "Jumpercut". We launched an app that operated like google docs but for collaborative filmmaking and editing.

As a proof of concept for the technology and it's capabilities, we decided to produce a short film documenting our trip to Silver Star Mountain. Our journey quickly takes a turn for the worse and the rest is history.

This is one of my first spectacles.

Generate Art - A Journey Into Multimedia Art Display

I've had the great pleasure of joining an up and coming art collective in Portland by the name of GenerateArt. At the moment the collective focuses on themed monthly "First Thursday" Art walks in the Portland Pearl District. In recognition of Independence Day the collective was challenged to generate art embodying Patriotism or Protest.

This is my spectacle

This land is your land.

This land is my land.

This land is Portland.

Sometimes an elevated perspective is necessary to remind us that, despite our expansive differences, our home is here, and it is for us all to share.

2017 - 12 Months & 12 Photos

2017 has been a year.

Sizing up the year in a singular adjective like "good" or "bad" doesn't cover the breadth of the adventure. We travelled the globe, relocated, built on amazing new ideas, dismantled and put away the old. 2017 has been a year of dreaming, learning, doing, and achieving.

As the 2017 comes to a close and 2018 begins, I'd like to share some of the inspired moments that made 2017 a spectacle.
